Finance staff can update a student’s fee structure or fee group in profile. This is done if staff wants to tie a fee structure to students manually. Finance staff have the option to generate initial bills or current semester bills when updating student’s fee structure.

Add Fee Structure Manually


  1. Click Advanced Search > Update
  2. On the secondary navigation bar, click Finance > Fee Structures
  3. Click Add New to tie student to a fee structure
  4. In Program field, select student’s current program
  5. The field Fee Structure will appear. Select the fee structure
  6. Set Generate Bill (Current Semester) to Yes if you want system to generate current semester bills
  7. Set Generate Initial Bills to Yes if you want system to generate initial bills

Update Student Fee Structure


  1. Click Advanced Search > Update
  2. On the secondary navigation bar, click Finance > Fee Structures
  3. Click Update
  4. In Program field, select student’s current program
  5. Set Generate Bill (Current Semester) to Yes if you want system to generate current semester bills
  6. Set Generate Initial Bills to Yes if you want system to generate initial bills
