chart of accounts (COA) is a financial organisational tool that provides a complete listing of every account in an accounting system. An account is a unique record for each type of asset, liability, equity, revenue and expense. In chart of accounts, user can add account codes.

Account codes are the types of bills. Examples of account code are registration fee, tuition fee and uniform fee. Account codes must be created first before system can bill students. Staff can decide if the bill is a deposit and match the bill to tax code.

Add Chart of Account


  1. Find Settings on the Navigation Bar located on the left side of the screen > Click Finance
  2. Click Chart of Account > Click Add New > Fill up the form
  3. In Account Type field, select type of account
  4. In Code field, enter account code
  5. In Name field, enter account name
  6. In Tax Code field, select account tax code
  7. In Description field, enter description of new account
  8. Set Deposit Type slider to On, if any
  9. Set Status slider to Active, if any
  10. Click Save

Update Account Code


  1. Find Settings on the Navigation Bar located on the left side of the screen > Click Finance
  2. Click Chart of Account > Click Update in Action column
  3. Update the required fields
  4. Click Save

Delete Chart of Accounts


  1. Find Settings on the Navigation Bar located on the left side of the screen > Click Finance
  2. Click Chart of Account > Click Delete
  3. On delete confirmation prompt, click Delete
